For your consideration, we are offering for sale this Restored Circa 1927 Parker Lady Duofold Fountain Pen in this amazing Blue on Blue Lapis celluloid. This fountain pen has been thoroughly taken apart, ultrasonically cleaned, put back together and is now in wonderful writing condition.

NOTE: The Blue on Blue Lapis color is known as a first year model Senior Duofold in this color that first started production in 1927. In 1928 the Senior Duofold has the White on Blue coloring, which is more commonly seen.

I have ultrasonically cleaned the NIB, feed, and section. Replaced the old sac with a new, properly sized silicone sac. Hand polished the Gold Filled Wide Cap Banding, and 14K Duofold NIB. Cleaned, Buffed, & Polished the barrel, blind cap and cap to bring back the vibrancy and to protect the celluloid of the fountain pen. This Parker Duofold is the Lady Duofold Size and measures 4 3/8" capped and 5 5/8" posted.

The fountain pen cap, barrel, and blind cap are in magnificent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs with the cap always securing tightly to the barrel. The Cap has the scarce wide gold filled cap banding that displays rich gold filled color with no wear. The barrel is stamped clearly with, "GEO. S. PARKER LADY DUOFOLD FOUNTAIN PEN JANESVILLE, WIS. LUCKY CURVE U.S.A. PAT. 4-25-11". There are no monograms or personalizations to either the cap or barrel. The Lapis Blue on Blue color is excellent and very vibrant.

This Duofold has a button filling mechanism and I have tested with water and fills as it should. Works as it is designed to.

The Parker Duofold NIB is 14K and writes with a wet, smooth, flexible stroke. The actual writing portion (iridium) of the Parker NIB has a fine point measuring roughly .57mm when measured with digital calipers. When writing a sample with this NIB, it writes with a medium stroke/line. In the writing sample provided, the medium line ranges from .63mm to .88mm with when measured with digital calipers. The writing sample was done with the actual pen in the images that are listed for sale. The writing sample was used by dipping the NIB in Montblanc Blue Ink.

This vintage Parker Lapis Blue on Blue Lady Duofold Fountain Pen is exceptional in the condition and color. I would consider this Parker to grade in Excellent to Near Mint Condition. The condition of this pen makes it highly sought after but even more so the wide gold filled cap banding is the cherry on top b/c they are so difficult to acquire in this condition. It is ready to write or just add it to your writing arsenal collection.
